Research, Publications, and Programs on Government Innovation and Democratic Governance
For 20 years, the Innovations in American Government Awards Program has recognized and promoted excellence and creativity in the public sector, and has generated a plethora of research related to government innovation and to its award-winning initiatives. In 2003, the Innovations Program became part of the Ash Institute for Democratic Governance and Innovation, and the Institute has broadened its research focus to study innovation and democratic governance globally.
This Resource Guide catalogs research related to the principles and innovative practices of democratic governance. The guide provides citations for Ash Institute publications as well as outside resources, some inspired by winners of the Innovations Award. We hope you will find this Guide useful in your own work.
